Set Math — iPhone & iPad

Sixteen answers,
before they finish asking.

How many stops of ND? What's the hyperfocal at T2.8? Will the card hold another hour at 4K ProRes? Set Math answers the questions that stop a unit mid-setup — sixteen calculators, one search field, no signal required and no ads in the way.

Questions

Before you download.

Is it free, or free-with-something?

Free. No ads, no subscription, no account, no upsell screen between you and the answer. It exists because we needed it on our own sets.

Does it work with no signal?

Completely. Every calculation runs on the device — which matters, because the places that need a card runtime figure are usually the places with no bars.

How is this different from DOPro?

Set Math is only the numbers, and it's free. DOPro is the department: director's viewfinder, digital slate, lighting diagrams, sun tracker, shot lists and location scouting, with its own calculators underneath. If you just need the maths, this is it.

Can I choose which tools show first?

Yes — star your favourites and they move to the top, so the two you use forty times a day aren't buried behind fourteen you don't.
