About EgeTech
EgeTech (EGETECH LTD) is a small software studio in Toronto, Canada. We make tools for the people who make films — writers, directors, cinematographers, camera assistants, DITs, script supervisors and the rest of the crew. Every app is offline-first and sold as a one-time purchase.
Onur Thornfield
EgeTech was founded by Onur Thornfield, a Turkish-Canadian Director of Photography based in Toronto with more than fifteen years on set. He studied Radio, Television and Cinema at Ege University and Film Production at Toronto Film School, graduating with honours.
His work as a cinematographer spans narrative films, commercials, music videos and documentaries. He shot Till Death Do Us Part, which won Best Cinematography at the New Jersey Film Awards in 2026, along with narrative titles such as The Last Laugh and A Snowstorm. EgeTech is where his two crafts meet. The apps come out of the everyday problems of a working set: camera reports, script notes, overtime nobody can check on the day, and cards that must be proven copied before they are wiped.
What "offline-first, one-time purchase" means
- Offline-first. Sets and locations rarely have a signal, so the core of every app works with the radios off. Your scripts, logs and reports live on your own device.
- One-time purchase. You pay once and keep the version you bought. Several iOS apps are free to download, with a single Pro unlock instead of a subscription.
- No tracking. No ad SDKs and no analytics on this website. Each app's privacy policy says exactly what it does and does not send.
