EGETECH LTD ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Scriptease: Filmmaker Studio ("Scriptease," "the App," or "the Application") handles your information.

Scriptease is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Script content, project files, or creative work

Device identifiers
Cookies or tracking pixels
Any data to cloud servers

How the App Works

Local-Only Storage

All data created within Scriptease—including scripts, breakdowns, stripboards, shot lists, call sheets, moodboards, storyboards, and other project files—is stored exclusively on your local device. We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve your content.

No Internet Required

Scriptease operates fully offline. The App does not require an internet connection to function and does not communicate with external servers during normal use.

No Account Required

You are not required to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in to use Scriptease. The App works immediately upon installation.

Data You Control

User Name

During initial setup, you may optionally provide a name for personalization purposes (e.g., greetings within the App). This name is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Project Files

Your project files are saved in the .sts format on your local file system. You have complete control over where these files are stored, backed up, or shared.

Third-Party Services

Scriptease does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any information to share.

App Store

Scriptease is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information in accordance with their privacy practices. For information about Apple's data collection, please review Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Scriptease does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect data, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requirements regarding children's data do not apply. The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.

Data Security

Because all data remains on your local device and we do not collect or transmit any information, your data security is in your hands. We recommend:

Regularly backing up your project files
Using your operating system's built-in encryption features
Keeping your device's software up to date

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. As Scriptease is an offline application, we encourage you to periodically review this policy on our website.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) do not apply in the conventional sense. You maintain full control over all data created within the App because it exists only on your device.
